The International Wing Chun Academy
The Academy's Certificate Course in Wing Chun Instruction
was the first in Australia (and possibly the world) to be afforded
tertiary status, and officially accredited by the Vocational
Education Training Board (VETAB). The course has attracted hundreds
of full-time students from within Australia and overseas (mostly
Japan, the United States, United Kingdom and Europe)

Overseas
Study at the IWCA in Australia
Over the past ten years, students from throughout the world have travelled to Australia to attend the International Wing Chun Academy's internationally known Certificates II-IV and Diploma in Sports Coaching, specialising in Wing Chun Kung Fu.
Secondly, and most importantly the knowledge to be gained while training under Grandmaster Jim Fung's most senior Instructors is of the highest standard.
There are
a number of reasons why our students travel so far to do this
course.
Firstly, it
was the first government approved martial arts course in Australia,
and one of the few anywhere in which students are eligible
for work and study visas while attending. |

|
Secondly,
and most importantly, the knowledge to be gained while training
under Grandmaster Jim Fung is of the highest standard. Grandmaster
Fung has for more than 40 years been a student of Great Grandmaster
Tsui Seung Tin, chairman of the Hong Kong Wing Chun Athletic Association
and the world's foremost authority on Wing Chun.
Students also
have the chance to improve their English and enjoy the experience
of living in Australia. Our three state centres all have central
city locations close to renowned tourist attractions such as the
Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour and Surfers' Paradise.
As stated
earlier, students are eligible to apply for part-time work
visas while studying at the Academy, and may transfer from
Sydney to our Gold Coast or Adelaide branches (subject to CRICOS
approval) at the end of each term (an additional administration
fee applies). |
