Harvest Trail Lodge in Loxton provides 20 fully air-conditioned, carpeted rooms that contain a television, refiridgerator, wardrobes and two comfortable bunk beds in each room.

Loxton is situated approximatately 200 km from Adelaide in the Riverland District. There are 2 major bus companies servicing the region. Premier Stateliner departs from Franklin St Station in Adelaide and drops off directly opposite the Lodge. McCaffertys departs from Adelaide and Sydney, but does not stop in Loxton. Berri is the closest stop and we would be happy to pick you up from there. Accommodation at the Lodge is backpacker style. We have 20 rooms, each with 2 bunk beds (4 persons maximum per room) Each room has reverse cycle air conditioning, TV with Austar, fridge and wardrobe. Room rates for Harvest workers (long term) are $130 per week. Shorter stays at $26.40 per night. The Lodge has 2 communal kitchens, all basics are supplied, and you just need to provide your own food. The Lodge has plenty of orange picking jobs available, there are also other jobs coming thru the lodge all the time, just give us a call to see what is available. If you are arriving on a late coach and you intend on working the next day, you will need to bring some food along with you for lunch for the next day as all our supermarkets close by 7pm. We provide free transport 2 and from the worksites each day. You may work 7 days per week if you choose to do so, but most of our workers have Saturday off. Work generally starts at 5 am and finishes at around 2 - 3pm. If it's going to be a hot day (40 degree +) then work will finish early, but then you would have the option of returning later in the afternoon.
