Below you will find
a general overview regarding travel insurance.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance
is a very important aspect of international travel and is something you
should consider very, very carefuly (some say you shouldn't leave home
without!).
After you have made your flight booking, you should strongly consider
taking out travel insurance so you are covered in the event of loss of
baggage, money or the requirement of medical treatment.
Another good idea is to take out a policy which covers ticket cancellation
fees, in the event you need to postpone your trip.
Medical insurance
is also available and is recommended.
Several policies are available which cover Australia and New Zealand,
some with stopovers and some without.
Policy prices vary, but remember what you pay for is what you get, and
don't forget to carefully check what the policy will and won't cover.
